The Best Part of Waking Up..........
Personally, I CAN NOT STAND mornings. I just DESPISE with a passion being woke up by an alarm clock! Even worse is waking up BEFORE the alarm clock. Total slap in the face for me, And don't let me be in the middle of a good dream, grrrr! and then its MONDAY.. sighhhhhh.. SO because of this passionate disliking (okay, hate) for mornings I am forced to find ways to get out of such an awful rut (yall know I'm dramatic lol)... I make a huge effort to start my day off in a great mood by listening to different types of music to wake me up, and play throughout my "morning routine." Since my liking of different types of music is so random I love to switch it up. So I have this Alarm app that you can set to play different songs as different alarms.. Its Alarm Clock Plus (I suggest you click it to download it if you dont have it! you're welcome :-) ) So I have 3 different alarms in the AM that plays 3 different songs M-F. And my ride to work in the AM?? JAMMINGG!!!!
The below are links to my ultimate FAVORITE feel good songs- Old school songs my dad played alot when I was a kid... I also included my "Feel Good Music" YouTube playlist which is a compilation of all my fave feel good songs, from gangster rap (lol!) to gospel, to country, even spanish songs. I like it all! :) I'll be sure to update it as I think of songs to add. Play these in the AM, especially on your car ride to work; Guaranteed to put you in a Good Mood ;-) Yall are welcome in advanced, no need to thank me later! But please do comment and let me know some of your favorite feel good songs!!
1- Frankie Beverly & Maze- Before I let you go
2- Gap Band- Early In The Morning
3- Kool and the Gang- Summer Madness
4- Simply Red- Sunrise
*FEEL GOOD PLAYLIST*
Starting your day off in a good mood sets the tone for the rest of the day. Try it and I bet you feel like your sailing swiftly toward Destination: Felicity <3

Destination: No where to go??
Hola! With Spring in full force there are lots of fun things going on ,especially here in San Antonio! I just love this time of year because the weather is perfect, (not to hot, not too cold) spring fashions and "trends" are giving me life, this is the time you notice sunsets to be so beautiful, birds are chirping a little earlier, and it just leads up to everyone's favorite season, SUMMER. Spring is the time of the year when you want to venture out to new places, and try new activities... I know that's how I am. Living in Texas, there is always something new to do so I am always feeling very adventurous! But sometimes I am stumped with the question, "So, what am I going to do today?"
I have always turned to YELP for answers. This site gives you events for the month, ratings of any and every business you can think of, (I've used it to get deets on restaraunts, bars/clubs, spas, and thrift/consignment stores to name a few.) Check out my profile on there to see places I've rated, and friend me to see what events I plan on going to!
Speaking of restaurants, Mothers day, my family and I went to River City Seafood & Grill, and I can honestly say that is THE BEST Seafood restaurant in San Antonio! Since my family owned a fish market growing up, I am definitely a seafood connoisseur! I would prefer this place over Pappadeux's any day, by far. Go check out their Menu, and a great "Commercial" featured on there website. And when you go, tell the owner Bill I sent you :) It was our 2nd time going there and each time he spoke to us and treated us very well. Please comment if you've gone and let me know your thoughts.
Back to finding things to do- There's a great App/ website called MeetUp, described by C.E.O Scott Heiferman as "an online social networking portal that facilitates offline group meetings in various localities around the world." This is a great place to network and meet new people, as well as find fun things to do. I am part of several different groups but have only actually attended 2 "meet ups." One being a Medical Professionals networking event, which was hosted by the group "Young Adult Community Building," and a photogrpahy meetup with a group called "Capture San Antonio." The next one I plan on attending is with the "San Antonio Advnture Club," and they go on all types of fun adventures from tubing to hiking. They also have plenty meetups for singles too ;-)
So with all these avenues of finding things to do, it wont be hard to get into something fun this weekend! Let me know, What are you going to do????

Destination: Hobbies!
Hey everyone!! I finally have time to post again and I've got a lot to talk about! This past week I got a new camera, and when I tell you I felt instantly like a pro because of this amazing thing.. Its a Cannon T4i and it came with 2 lenses and it has to be 1 of the best purchases of my life lol. But any-who since I think I'm such a professional I've decided to get into photography. Talk about feeling innovative haha.....So I tried to use my camera the whole weekend!. With fiesta going on I thought it would be a great time to go down to the river walk and take some flicks..
I met up with my friend and my Bro n Sis and we went to a few bars........
LOL.. Cant take black ppl anywhere.
And then we went to NIOSA (Night In Old San Antonio)... it was CROWDED! Im talking about thousands of people!!
Man in a Pinata Suit! So Cool!
This was taken at night!!
That was Friday... The next evening I went back downtown to fiesta lol, only with my mom! We danced to live music, had drinks, chicken on a stick and walked on the River Walk. As you can tell my pics got a little better since I checked out some YouTube tuts.
I just love this thing! So also I did a shoot with my friend Tiffanys' Son Jaiden! He is too adorable. And also my niece and nephews! I will post those pictures on my photography site (coming soon :) I had a long eventful weekend, and wrapped up fiesta with lots of fun with friends and Mi Madre y Hermano y familia! With that being said- Make it a point to find a new hobby you can become passionate about.... A lot of times people inquire "so, what do you like to do in your spare time?" My answer use to be shop, hang out with friends, and have fun... lol, how interesting right? Now at least I can add photography to my "things I do in my spare time." As you grow up you find yourself falling into the same everyday hustle n bustle. Work, school, sleep, eat, go out from time to time and on the weekends. Life is much more meaningful when you have activities, and hobbies to actually enjoy and love doing. Being 25 years old, and single its like everything I do on a regular basis is boring honestly. Don't get me wrong I have awesome friends to hang out with but as far as having fun "during me time," I'm often bored out of my mind! lol.. So whether it be playing an instrument, taking pictures, working out, scrap-booking, mentoring, traveling, cooking, volunteering.. Whatever! I came across a quote
"You never achieve success unless you like what you are doing."
and that just motivated me to begin to find more things that I genuinely enjoy doing, not just for money(although when you like something enough you are able to turn it into a business very easily where people would not hesitate to be your consumer,) but just because you are passionate about it! It will definitely contribute to enjoying complete Felicity.

Intro
Hello Blog-o-sphere! This is my first post and I have "high hopes" and aspirations for this project. It is my goal to share with everyone who's interested, exciting activities, tips and tricks, advice, ideas, and just whatever I'd like to share that will make you feel good! As we all probably have- I have struggled on this mission called life, and no matter where I am or what I am going thru, I try to make make life admirable even though I am still trying to find out my purpose. This year I will be turning 25 and I am on a mission to reach Supreme Felicity. Keep up with me thru everyday experiences that I will document thru photography, reviews, tips and tricks, and everything in between! Together, as we reach our Destination: Felicity.
